Municipality of Taber

The Council of the Municipal District of Taber is giving notice of its intention to consider the following proposed bylaw amendments:

• Bylaw No. 2023 – to amend the Area Structure Plan for King Arthur’s Lake Front Resort (originally Bylaw No. 1829).
• Bylaw No. 2024 – to amend the MD of Taber Land Use Bylaw (Bylaw No. 2011).

Purpose of the Proposed Bylaws

• Bylaw No. 2023
  This bylaw proposes changes to the Area Structure Plan for King Arthur’s Lake Front Resort, specifically for a portion of Lot 3, Block 2, Plan 2010659 (E½ Sec. 30, Twp. 12, Rge. 16, W4M).
  The amendment is intended to support the development of Phase 5 of the resort, as outlined in the attached map.

• Bylaw No. 2024
  This bylaw proposes to rezone the same parcel of land from “Rural Agricultural – RA” to “Private Commercial Recreation – PCR” to allow for the Phase 5 development. Also outlined in the attached map.
