Information for Voters

Voter registration

The 2025 Municipal Election is on Monday, October 20th.

To vote in the MD of Taber’s Municipal Election, you need to be registered with Elections Alberta before September 15, 2025. If you are not registered before September 15, 2025, you will need to register and complete additional paperwork at the voting station before casting your ballot. Plan ahead and make your vote count! Registering will also register you for any upcoming provincial and federal elections.

Registering in advance can save time on election day. The Voterlink platform allows eligible Albertans to:

  • Register to vote for the first time
  • Update existing voter registration information
  • Check if they are already registered

To complete your registration, you will need an Alberta Driver’s License or an Alberta Identification Card for each individual you wish to register or update. The process takes less than five minutes!

To register, visit Voterlink.

Your privacy is important—your information will be used for electoral purposes only and shared with your municipality as required by Alberta provincial legislation.
