The MD of Taber’s Strategic Communications Plan is a living document that reflects Council’s vision, community input, and best practices in municipal communications. Developed through extensive research—including Council and public surveys in 2021—it identifies transparent, two-way communication as a key priority.
This Plan provides a shared framework for all staff to support clear, consistent messaging, foster stronger relationships with stakeholders, and encourage meaningful public participation. While led by the Communications Officer, successful communication is a collective responsibility across the organization.
Aligned with the MD’s broader Strategic Plan, this communications strategy is designed to strengthen service delivery and guide ongoing efforts to effectively engage our community.
