The Agricultural Pests Act directs that Declared Agricultural Pests must be controlled, and that Agricultural Nuisances may be controlled. The ASB works along with Alberta Agriculture’s directive on these issues and we do have programs in place now for pest control. It needs to be noted that when there are urban and human interactions with problem wildlife, Alberta Fish and Wildlife have legislation to deal with these situations. The ASB will provide assistance with problem wildlife control as it relates to agriculture production.
